Import a Content Type

Contentstack allows you to import the JSON file of a content type into your stack.

To import a content type, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:

  1. Go to your stack, and click on the "Content Models" icon from the left navigation pane.
  2. Click on the Import Content Type icon located at the top right corner of the page.
  3. This opens the Import Content Type window where you can browse and upload the JSON file of the content type that you want to import.
  4. Click Import to import your content type.

After successfully importing the content type, you can add entry(ies) to it, and publish them to an environment.
